Catalyst Foundation

Catalyst Foundation is an inclusive, independent and charitable organisation seeking to improve the lives of all South Australians in the areas of Ageing, Disability, Lifestyle, Employment, Business and Learning. Also known and trusted in South Australia as Seniors Information Service, we changed the organisation’s name to Catalyst Foundation in 2016 to reflect the growth in our services, the communities we serve and to underline the value of making a difference through action.

Acknowledgement of country

Proudly Safe SA has been created on Kaurna land but our contributors live, work and meet across South Australia. Catalyst Foundation acknowledges Traditional Owners of the south of the continent and pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded, and that racism, oppression and white privilege is being enacted every day. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQA+ people, and recognise that LGBTIQA+ spaces are too often complicit or silent in racial oppression. We commit to being reflective and taking action to address racism within LGBTIQA+ spaces.

We invite collaboration and feedback on this website, and would love any insight into how this space can better acknowledge and operate for First Nations people.
